| Just picked up a RC51 Well I have been on all the newer inline fours and just sold my gsxr1000 2 months ago. I saw the bike sitting at a car dealership and stopped. I always wanted a RC51 but underestimated them. He wanted $6500 for it. The bike was in great condition. The paint looked really good. It was all stock except for a power commander. I rode the RC51 for about 30 minutes and was impressed. It handled so well. Alot of power in the lower rpms. I love the bike. I will post pics up soon. Do you guys think the bike was worth $6500? It has 11k miles on it. |

| Re: Just picked up a RC51 Sounds a bit high but what year? SP2s are worth more used. Of course even if it is high keep looking and get an RC anyway

Or if you decide you like it, offer a lot lower and be willing to warlk away. Good luck. |

| Re: Just picked up a RC51 I paid $5500 for my '01 last summer and it was fairly well equipped, and included front and rear stand, Geza cover, battery tender, and all of the OEM parts. I would think $5000 would be the max. You never see sport bikes under $5000. That magic floor.... |

| Re: Just picked up a RC51 $6200 for my '02 last December, with PCIII, Sato Banzais, 15/41 gearing w/520 chain, flapper mod, and PAIR mod. It had about 14K miles, but with the gearing change causing the speedo to read high, actual miles were probably closer to 12K. |
