RC51 CARBON AIR BOX

Im looking for a carbon airbox for the RC. Ive tried Thorsten and he never responds and I cant seem to find the Moriwaki box I found one on QB carbon but I want to see if there is any other options. Also I remember a thread on a oversize front intake snorkel which again I am having no luck finding. I just got my heads done and need a larger airbox and intake to make more power. Any help would be apprciated

Brett from TurnOne can help you out with the Snorkel, and possible the airbox. Send him an email turnone@iprimus.com.au

Could be, he did sell some on eBay. If you use the email I gave you I am sure he will get back to you at some point. I know he just recently got a new bike so he is probably out playing on it.

Re: RC51 CARBON AIR BOX

Ok, here is the update, finally! I put in the air box that durbahn offers in full carbon and also installed the carbon snorkle that Turn One offers. The air box is huge and is fairly easy to install(no instructions), the quality of the box and sealing methods were awesome. The snorkle was also very straight foward with great quality! I took the bike out after install and WOW! I mainly noticed the weight loss and some power gain, the second thing is when I hit the powerband the bike screams! like the rc51 superbike sounded! Im still working on my custom Akrapovic Hexagonal high mount exhaust set up so as soon as I get that put together I'll get that thing tuned and maped, then I'll post the numbers up! I seen some getting 10-12 hp with the box alone..hmmm we will see! Ill post some pics of the bike when Im done w/all!

Re: RC51 CARBON AIR BOX

Did you ever get a dyno run? Any pics? How has it held up, quality wise? I'd love to hear more about it, thinking of doing the same. Thanks
