Hope that helps somewhat. |

| Re: what other honda wheels fit the rc51? I'm using a 954 front (with RC bearings and spacers) on a project bike that uses SP1 forks - others have done it as well. |

| Re: what other honda wheels fit the rc51? The CBR 929 and 954 wheels are identical fitment (the latter are a bit lighter) and the REAR is a straight swap for ALL RC51s. The fronts 'can' be fitted to the RC51, but you need to either change bearings or the best solution is to make new spacers as these can then be in aluminium and extend inside the bearing (to make up the difference between the 22mm spindle and 25mm bearing ID). This means they are lighter than stock and more importantly, don't keep falling out every time you try to fit the wheel. This is a REALLY good feature:-)
I can confirm the above is correct as I have 954 wheels on my RVT because I prefer the 3 spoke style.
I 'think' that CBR1000RR4-7 would be a similar fit and maybe the RR8 rear, but I cannot be 100%. However, what is definite is that the RR8 front wheel is different as the fork spacing is narrower, so forget that one. |

| Re: what other honda wheels fit the rc51? The rotors are different on 929,954 and 1000RR compared to an RC51. So if you find a set plan on getting rotors to fit you caliper location. |

The 04/05 CBR1000RR used 310, so also not immediately suitable. But the 06/07 CBR used 320mm discs (rotors) and my guess is that they'll fit the RC51 OK. But if you still have the original RC51 wheels and discs, just move those discs to the new wheels. |

I have aftermarket rims on mine and already had extra rotors since some dumb fata$$ sheep stepped on the OEMs . I then got the stockers straightened and use the OEMs for rain tires. I doubt he wants to swap rotors every time it rains |

Stock RC51 rotors will fit any of the above wheels and therefore fit the standard calipers positions. So if he has the original discs (rotors) then he can use those with any of the above wheels (NOT the CBR1000RR8 though). So he can swap wheels (rims) and not worry about discs (rotors). Just the spacers to think about and as I said, top hat spacers make wheel fitting MUCH easier. |

| Re: what other honda wheels fit the rc51? Go for the BST carbon wheels, great investment and you will not believe the difference. |
