| Re: RC51 question Keep the sales numbers low so you can show that it's not worth continuing to bring to market. Remove that model from the lineup to make room for a different bike. |

Also volume pricing from vendors. While your tooling costs are not going up that is only part of the cost (significant though it is). |

| Re: RC51 question I'd be willing to bet that being a twin (2 heads, 4 cams), having gear driven cams (additional cost) and just generally being an engine built like a brick $hit house alone makes it worth more. The RC IMHO, is just way overbuilt as a stock machine when compared to the 1000RR. |

ok I'm having lamb chops for dinner tonight, I don't own an RC51 and I am definetly not more sophisticated than any other joe schmoe. so I guess my question is, where the hell is my RC51?

i eat pork chops...off the grill, with koolaid to drink in a plastic dixie cup
and i might nuke a baked potato to go with it. and i do ride an RC51
im just good ol' fashioned redneck that know a champion bred machine when i see one. overbuilt...na i can still break it...just a matter of personal preference. i prefer my bike to have some ballz......besides..from what i hear...the 1000RR would be to fast for me anyways |
