Send them out to someone who knows what they are doing and can do it right

I helped a friend so some GSXR Kayaba forks once, and those were supposedly fairly simple. I won't be doing USD forks myself again. Assuming you need to open them up (haven't looked at the service manual) you need some special tools, which we fabricated on the Kayabas, but I think the new forks require more specialized tools.

Good luck if you try it.

Not difficult, but you need a few special tools, as the forks have to come off and the inserts removed. Good time to send them out and have them worked if not done already.

Geez how many forums are you on? I need to fit a spring spacer kit from Traxxion Dynamics to my SP1 forks but think it maybe beyond me with only limited tools. May get the shop to do it for me.
