| '03 Forks on '00 RC51 HELP!! I had placed a bid on these the other day but last night while I slept I was outbid. Today I have a second chance to pick them up for $825 shipped. 2003 RC Forks on EBAY
My question is would there be any work required to mount these on my '00. I know the internals are different, but was anything else changed that won't let them fit? And would the '00 wheel still work with this setup? |

I agree with sheep. Proceed with caution. I made a bid at a high dollar item before and lost. In two days I recieved an unsolicited email stating that if I want the product, it is still available. Sounded fishy to me. |

It seems like they may have had someone else bidding to jack the price, only probem was that I was sleeping so they over shop me.
I have seen it done before, so it just seems like the same situation |

| Re: '03 Forks on '00 RC51 HELP!! Make sure you pay with Paypal, they'll get you your money back(or at least part of it). You could also ask for different angles of the forks to see if he really has them. |

| Re: '03 Forks on '00 RC51 HELP!! email him back and ask him to make a private auction with preapproved bidders (obviously you'd be the only one approved) with a buy it now price of $850. that way it still goes through ebay and you get a little protection if its a bum deal.

| Re: '03 Forks on '00 RC51 HELP!! As I said in the pm, the orginal seller is known as Rothmans over on the speedzilla.com forum. Has a good rep there, so go register and pm him, see if its a scam or not. I'm sure he'd be interested. |

Hopefully its legit, but if it's not then hopefully I can help him find the punk who is trying to scam his customers |

I was in touch with Rothman and he informed me that it's a scam, but he will have another complete front end going up soon so all is not lost.. |
