| Repsol Paint Scheme on the RC51 I have never been a fan of the RC51 paint scheme and some guy from Japan had what appears to be a nice set of bodywork for the RC51 with the Repsol paint scheme for sale on ebay (for an RC51.. of course)
Does anyne have any pictures of the Repsol Paint scheme on an RC51 showing the gas tank? I ask because the bodywork would look like crap without the Gas Tank matching the bodywork?
Pictures of an RC51 tank painted in the Repsol paint scheme???
thanks in advance...

| Re: Repsol Paint Scheme on the RC51 I'm also interested in this color scheme.. I've found another repsol vtr sp1, from a guy in Netherland (I think ).
Take a look at his VTR Repsol. There are some minor tweaks that I would do, but the bike overall looks great.
BTW, guys on that forum are crazy about sp1 & sp2 vtr bikes... take a look at this 128 page long thread with tons of pictures... Motor-forum - VTR 1000 SP 1 & 2 Topic Deel 3

this one is definetly better than the first but something about where it just doesn't do it for me. I think the Repsol scheme just doesn't fit the RC51 very well.
and jjj stay away from that ebay replica scheme body work on ebay. there's a thread about it on here. basically it doesn't fit very well at all and its fairly flimsy.

| Re: Repsol Paint Scheme on the RC51 i dunno man......looks like it fits pretty well to me.......
the only thing that would stop me is that honda had the 1krr already on the market as a repsol edition and they are bringing it back again..that and they never ran the RC in repsol colors. the RC is a race replica for the most part anyways in the red/silver. when i first saw the 05 in all black i fell in love, but now the more i look at it, it just isnt right...an RC is supposed to red/silver |

a friend wants to buy my RC51 and I think I'm going back to a Ducati if I can work a deal on a full-on ex factory 916 race bike...
I really like the RC51, but my first love is Ducati 916's.... too much seat time to forget....
