RC51 OIL CHANGE

Hello,

RC Lovers, what brand and type of oil do you guys use on your RC? I just recently got an 04 RC. I've used HP4 full syn w/o moly. thanks.

Without actually addressing your question, I can assure you that of all the RC owners that are members on this site, there are probably less than 3 that use the same type/brand/weight of oil in their bikes. What you would get if every owner answered is probably 30 different recommendations.

Having said all of that, I use Motul 300V 0W30 Factory Line and it works splendidly.

no oil. They are pretty well made and have a built on safety wire point. Also I get them for much less than Honda filters. But the Ascot has a K&N

Re: RC51 OIL CHANGE

Since you just bought it, I'd put some of this in there to clean out the internals a bit. Never know what crap the previous owner ran through there.

Yeah, but what do you use to clean that stuff out after you use it?
