Thx | any white light shining down onto the plate will work. just make sure it doesn't face backwards and you should be all set.

Re: License Plate lights, Any Ideas /Pics I have a fender eliminator on my 929 with the integrated brakelight turn signals. I bought a 4inch long neon tube light that is meant to plug into your cigarette lighter. Took the lighter end apart, ran the wires through a small hole and wired it direct into the harness under the seat. The light stick is held up in the corner over top of the plate with a small bead of silicone behind it. I made a reflector out of a tin pie plate material same length bent on a 90 so it could hang down from the bottom of the taillight just far enough so that the light isn't visible to cars behind me but reflects the light right at the plate. the reflector is red on the back side of it so you don't even notice it from behind. The light is blue in color which works with my bikes colours but lights the plate up well. If my bike was here I'd snap a pic for ya but it's sleeping at the Hilton maybe I'll snap a pic next time I'm there if you still want it later.

Re: License Plate lights, Any Ideas /Pics If you check with you local cycle shop they should have bolts that hold your plate and have a small bulb intergrated in them.

Re: License Plate lights, Any Ideas /Pics I got a row of led lights. I forget where, but they came either as part of a licence plate frame, or just the light part. They can be screwed on. I stuck them on with automotive tape, as there wasn't room for me to get a nut on the screw. I had previously used the lite n boltz, and I liked them, but the wires are fragile and eventually broke. I like this light row better. I'll try and get pics tonight.

Re: License Plate lights, Any Ideas /Pics I'm using the OEM brake light, but removed the bulky license plate bracket and light. Dremeled a slot in the bottom of the stop light and glued a clear piece of lexan in there. It illuminates the plate fine.

Re: License Plate lights, Any Ideas /Pics Thanks for the ideas, I went to Target got a $6 mini micro light, with a lil velcro , works perfect. Attached it to my undertail 5 - 6 inches from the plate. The light has 3 stages, bright as hell, bright and blinking. This is what the light kinda looks like. Very bright LED Keychain Photom Flashlight
