hey everyone this may sound stupid, but i'm new to motorcycles how what needs to removed to change spark plugs? and what tools would I need?

to the site. A good place to start with basic maintenance items is your owner's manual. The next best place is a service manual from www.helminc.com

Another great site is rc51.org. They have some VERY good info there as well.

Spark plug will need basic metric hand tools:
Socket Set (Metric)
Spark Plug Socket (smaller one)
Screw driver

From memory-
You will have to lift the gas tank or remove it if you want to make it easier to get to. Remove the chin spoiler from under the nose of the bike. Now you should be able to get to both plugs.


It's not that bad... give it a try.
