I propose you buy another, different model to turn into a "streetfighter".

Re: Change RC51/ SP1 to Streefighter style

ive seen it done a couple of times. but if you want a street fighter style bike with a big v-twin..may i suggest a suzuki SV1000. or street fighter maybe a 900 RR..with the front air intake it makes for a very laborous job to turn one into a street fighter.

I think the RC51 would probably make a terrible looking streetfighter. its too much racebike underneath the plastics and wasn't made to look all that great naked.

+1

just to much "STUFF" under all that plastic..not really apealing...i have the plastics off mine right now and it looks like a ugly duckling super hawk
which is another option if your looking for a "naked" v-twin

I must say my absolute favorite bike “street fighter” bike has got to be the TLS. I know it doesn’t help with your RC51 project, but I thought I would share my thoughts!

Re: Change RC51/ SP1 to Streefighter style

I was thinking of turning my RC51 into a streetfighter, I changed my mind tho after seeing her without her bodywork... gonna grab a cheap 2nd hand CBR1000RR and use that as a project bike.. keep my RC51 and do the work on the Blade over time.

Re: Change RC51/ SP1 to Streefighter style

I say a rc51 naked is f**kin uglyyyyyy cuz of the radiator exhaust position maybe if u can custom fab the radiator in the front and gp exhaust or undertail

Btw I like the first rc51 pic with the gp exhaust and trasformer looking headlight(the radio that hack the computer at airforceone) lol try to custom fab the radiator in the front and that would look sick
