fuel pump

I have a 2000 rc and i was attempting a wheelie off a corner and when i missed a shift like a beginner into second and hit nuetral the bike shut off? when i stopped i turned it off and on again. that is when i noticed there was no fuel pump noise? the bike has a few things added to it. commander and a two into one jardine. for a couple days before this i was having problems with the bike at high rpms. if i got on it hard it would shut right down at about 9g's but if you go easy it will redline? the same thing happened to me with my old hurricane 1000 and i never figured that one out either? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: fuel pump

Disconnect the Power Commander and see if the problem goes away.

Re: fuel pump

I would first check all connections, the battery terminals the ground for the PC and maybe even prop the tank to make sure no wires are being chafed from rubbing the tank. If you pulled the PC and still had the issues it very well could be the map your using, try to use a more suitable map if you not already for you current set up and also reset your TPS on th pc. Hopefully some of this helps out!
