No, actually we wrestle with lions in Africa just for fun. Rhinos are too weak!

Here's my new (ish, 1600 miles on the clock) 2006 model. Only added an HRC tank pad for now, not sure if I will do anything else cosmetic or even exhaust wise (UK trackdays are quite strict on noise limits)

Re: RC51 Pictures By Owner

Iv seen them and want that done to mine.. but can't find a place that does it in the UK. I think 70 to change the LEDs is extortionate... but still I would grudgingly pay it... but I sure won't pay 70 plus all the extra to get it shipped to the USA and then pay to get it shipped back ontop of that... I would be paying in excess of 200!! To change 3 LED's? No thanx...

It surely can't be that much to ship it here? I shipped a frotn fender via usps to australia for $38.

Re: RC51 Pictures By Owner

38 TO Australia...

so take 70 for the work, then 38 from Italy to USA and then 38 from USA back to Italy... 146.

So 146 to change 3 led's? nah...

Don't get me wrong... if a guy did it locally yeh I would pay the 70!! But to pay more for the postage than the actual work is NOT something I would be willing to do.

Re: RC51 Pictures By Owner

here's a few shots of my 01 SP1
mods include the full racing exhaust by Jardine, larger air box, Ohlins steering damper, Ohlins rear shock, Progressive fork springs, braided lines, and just finished installing the undertail.
I'm still looking to add a PCIII, and a rear tire hugger.

Re: RC51 Pictures By Owner

A questiona bout the Moriwaki radiator ducts... can they be painted? I have looked around and can only find them in carbon fibre... personally if I got them I would want them white to match my bikes fairing... but if they are only available in carbon fibre then I would have to paint them (no big deal) but is there a reason why they arent available in plastic? Too hot? If so then wouldnt the heat effect the paint if I were to get them painted?

Re: RC51 Pictures By Owner

I want to know if there is any hard evidence that they work? I mean I read once that one "MOD" was to reverse one of the radiator fans....ummm if you reverse a radiator fans direction then it will be blowing against the flow of the air.....what is the point of that?
