Wide band commander

Ok guys, heres one for tech guys... i live in Dubai. We have absolutely brilliant winters... 20 degress, 40-60% humidity, high cloud cover, but no rain for 4-6 months.... the best roads in the world for riding at the fastest speeds (cause they where only built 5 years ago...)

BUT, summer hits, at 5am you can be sitting at 35 deg c, it can be 80% humid, or the winds could be off shore bringing the desert air at 5-15% and it can change in the space of 30 mins. If you are unlucky and get caught out on a day ride, and it gets hot (gulf hot i mean) you can hit 50 degress plus from 11am till 2 pm... try and guess the right fuel mixture, i swear ill buy anything you sell.

so, i have a p3, thinking of fitting the dynojet LCD screen and trying to plumb in the output from the dynojet wide band air/fuel sensor... this way as the year rolls through i can take the ratio in my stride and adjust to suit.

thoughts ?

Re: Wide band commander

Before you mess around with your computer you need to insulate your fuel line from the engine, thats if you experience those high temperatures over there, and you can also line the under side of your fuel tank with this same insulation. This will stop the fuel boiling which can cause problems with fuel delivery and smooth running. do this first and let me know how it works for you. I live in Australia and our summers are pretty hot, and this is what i did for my vtrsp1 and it worked very well.
