Re: New RC guy

ya I have to see what sprockets are on there now, I think they have been changed, but I will see, I may get some pictures of the undertail and front brake rotors so I know what make they are, the undertail is all stainless steel, uses the stock tail light and aftermarket blinkers, I like the look, but dont know what make it is.

Re: New RC guy

sounds like its a home made piece. stainless steel = HEAVY! go for carbon or fiberglass.

Re: New RC guy

actually its thin stainless and feels light compared to the fiberglass one I put on my f4i, and it is done in a proffesional stamping machine, I can tell cause I used to sell metal fab machinery. I am going to put the undertail on this week and Ill grab some photos.
I think he has changed the sprocket though, because I have noticed the "chug" when slow, Ill have to see.
Thanks guys! Anyone else from Canada? or the Toronto Area?

Re: New RC guy

put a 1/6th turn throttle on and you wont believe the way it will open up. wonderful feeling, very smooth and not un controlable. you can get the throttle for about 50 bucks off ebay by HRC and get away with it with out doing the dan kyle kit for twice as much. only difference is a longer throttle return cable which you dont need.

WELCOME to the sit and the RC51 fraternity. Check out my pics for any undertail ideas you may need as you said that you are still using the stock tail light which is pretty ugly. Hurry up and get those photos up and give us all a look.

Re: New RC guy

ther are a couple of ways of doint the flapper mod. first is the easiest, pull out the vacuum hose, plug it and tape up where the hose goes on the flapper. second is the block off kit.just look infront of your gauge and see if the round rubber thing on the intake tube looks factory or if its been altered.
