A search didn't bring up enough specific info, I'm trying to figure out the correction percentage on my Speedo healer. I have the online estimator and I came up with -12.1% . That is assuming a 5.5% factory error with -1 gearing optimized for speedo accuracy. Just wondering what correction factors others are using. I really don't wanna spring for a $$$$$ GPS unit, there's not a whole lot of other ways to do this. Just wondering how accurate the estimator is.

I haven't used the on-line estimator, but your number sounds pretty close to what I have (14% with +2 rear teeth and more than 5.5% factory error)

Find one of those road side radar signs and do a couple passes (at reasonable speeds for the roads ... sometimes find them on the freeway) to do a correlation. I've also heard of people asking police officers to check their speed ... but be sure to be within legal limits. Lot cheaper ways than investing in a gps.

I just picked up my rc last week and am also in need of a speedo healer-- I watched the mile markers on the ride home and figured mine was exactly 1/10th of a mile off every mile-- for example at every mile the odometer was showing exactly 1.0, 1.9, 2.8, 3.7, 4.6, and so on...
