| Riding Double on RC51 I was just wondering how it is riding double on the RC51 and if there is a seat to do so... |

| Re: Riding Double on RC51 There is a rear seat that replaces the solo cowl. You should be able to pick one up off eBay if you didn't get one for some reason.
Never rode anyone on the back of mine though, so I can't help you there. |

| Re: Riding Double on RC51 it sucks, you feel every move the passenger makes, it makes you as the driver uncomfortable. It adds more weight, not to mention you can't corner as hard and you have a second life to worry about. |

| Re: Riding Double on RC51 The seat snaps right in like everybody said, takes all of 20 seconds to make the switch from cover to seat or back. I ride my wife to work every day on the back of my RC and its fine. The bike does handle different, but so do all bikes. She doesn't complain (my last bike was a 636 and the experience was similar, the bake seat was angled so it was easier for her to hold on, but for you the rider, its the same as on any bike) |

| Re: Riding Double on RC51 Yea, we weren't sure how close he would need to stay in order to get a good shot and keep us in camera view through the turns. |

| Re: Riding Double on RC51 Most sport bikes have links and shocks that are pretty progressive as far as rear suspension goes, meaning they get more firm the farther into the travel you go. They are designed with a thought to two-up riding on occasion. Most of the race links (Dan Kyle comes to mind) make the suspension more linear with compression pretty much the same all the way through. Go out and enjoy. The RC rear pillion is pretty tiny, so she most likely will be cursing you, but hey, the driver's seat is a plank too.
Hope this helps. |
