Re: lookin' for paint.

I don't know how it is down there but up here most shops won't fix cracked plastic - reason being that by the time they fix the plastic and paint it, the cost is almost the same or greater than new pieces. Check ebay - you might be able to find a good piece for a reasonable price.

If you don't have any luck locally or on ebay let me know. I've been rebuilding sportbikes since '91 and do plastic welding & painting. PM me if you get to that point...maybe I can help you out. Shipping might be prohibitive depending on if what you need is just minor or major.

I'll be posting pictures of my RC51 within the next week or so - I'm just finishing up painting this week with a paint scheme that's a cross between a Repsol & the OEM honda wing look....

Re: lookin' for paint.

A good friend of mine owns EmpireGP.com - Motorcycle Plastic Welding, Gas Tank Repair, Custom Painting, Race Replicas I think he is in upstate N.Y. His company motto is essentially he will fix it and paint it for half of the price a new fairing would cost. He's a pro and does great work. He can even repair messed up fuel tanks.
