Engine cutting out?

Recently I have noticed something weird happening with my RC. Sometimes it feels like the engine will die or cut out for a split second, particularly when going up a steep hill. It doesn't cause a backfire, so I don't know if the engine is actually dieing. It's as if I am chopping the throttle off/on.

In fact it happens so quickly I cant tell if its the engine, or perhaps something else causing a drag.

Re: Engine cutting out?

Loose connection or the bank angle sensor.

Where is the bank angle sensor on the RC?

Re: Engine cutting out?

How did you go finding the problem with this? Mines doing something kind of similar. It'll do it for 10km and then won't do it again the rest of the day. Gotta be something loose, just thought I'd try to narrow down where to start looking.

Re: Engine cutting out?

I checked the codes and found it was the TP sensor (Throttle Position). Or loose TP sensor wiring. I have not fixed the problem yet, mine has only done it once since I checked the codes.

Re: Engine cutting out?

Cheers. I'll do a code check on mine and see if anything pop's up. I crushed my throttle hand under a truck the other day so looks like i'll have plenty of time to find the issue.
