Need help with measurements

I've gone to other RC51 forums and asked these questions, but no one has responded. I know this forum is WAY better than those other ones...

Would someone please grab a tape measure and measure the swingarm from the center of the pivot to the center of the rear axle? I'm trying to find out the useable length of the swingarm for a custom project I'm working on.

While you have the tape out, could you also give me the height of the swingarm pivot from the floor?

And lastly, the distance between the swingarm pivot and the countershaft sprocket. Are both the countershaft and the swingarm pivot on the same horizontal plane or is the swingarm pivot slightly lower. It's hard for me to tell in pics.

Thanks alot for taking the time for me.

Re: Need help with measurements

The sprocket center is slightly higher than the pivot bolt. The distance from the pivot to the axle is 20.5" +/-. The distance from the pivot to the sprocket center is 3" +/-. The distance from the pivot to the ground is 15.75" +/-.

Thanks! You're awesome! I see from your information you have a 2000 RC51... Are these measurements off that model? If I'm not mistaken, that would be a SP-1 correct? Would you know if the measurements are the same on a SP-2?

Re: Need help with measurements

Height of the swingarm pivot from the ground is affected by suspension settings.

Yes I took the measurements off my 2000 RC51, which is also the SP-1. I don't know if the measurements are the same on the SP-2. I do know the swing arm is different though.

Re: Need help with measurements

Thanks everyone for the info. I'm using a SP2 rear end (shock/brake/wheel/arm etc.) on a custom project. I know the "height from the ground" request I made would change due to many different things, but I'm looking for any info now due to the fact that I live in a North West burb of Chicago and no one has any SP2's for me to measure. I'm working on drawings now, and soon... the jigs. Thanks again!
