Hello all, new to this site.....

Buddy of mine told me about this site. Ive had my bike for about a year now, but have not been able to ride much. Its an 05 RC51 with pcIII and two bro carbon exhaust. I just started to spend more time on the bike due to my schedule changing. Im wanting to add water weter, but cant find any threads on this. Not sure if I should add the entire bottle, or drain all the coolant, and start over with water and the water weter only, etc. Any help would be great. The heat in traffic is brutal, its been in the 90's every day.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Hello all, new to this site.....

Welcome, We all feel your pain when it comes to the RC's running hot. There are alot of mods to help alittle.
You can (should) reverse the polarity of the fans and flip the fans over on the shaft. Water wetter wont hurt, just not sure how much it really helps, I run it in my bikes and cars but really see no difference. I just added per instuctions. You can also go to speedzilla.com there is a section there for RC51's.
Great info there and seems to be much more active.

Re: Hello all, new to this site.....

welcome!! do check out speedzilla as previously mentioned... LOTS of useful info there...

waterwetter needs to be mixed w/ distilled water, just read the bottle and follow instructions...

take right side fan off, then reverse the fan on the left side as well as the polarity (flip the blade, dont know if that makes sense, as well as switch the wires +/-) OR best thing to do is get your self some radiator scoops, again go to speedzilla -> rc51 section -> classifieds
