Yoshimura RS-3 replacement parts source?

I traded for a 2001 RC51 a few months ago. I absolutely love this bike after being away from the sportbike scene for several years. The bike had seen some track use and had been down, but the previous owner had spent some bucks repairing it-factory lower fairings look new and all decals (except for the RC51 and 1000R emblems on the tail section) were replaced. There was no radiator damage so the crash appeared to be a light low-side slide. I was impressed with the condition of the bike and his apparent attention to detail in preparing it for track/street use. It fit my budget and I had an overall good feel about the bike and the seller. All that being said, the bike came with a Yosh RS-3 full exhaust system of the stainless can variety. The right side can was damaged as well as the pipe between the can and the footpeg. I am sure that most of you that have been around the 51 are familiar with the area in question, it looks like it has been ground and hammered flat. If I had the stock exhaust with slip ons I would simply buy new cans. My question is can I do that seeing as how I have the full header system? If not, where can I buy the parts that I need? I keep a pretty good watch on E-bay, but most of what I see has been damaged in the same way. Any help would be appreciated. Also, is there a good guide to suspension setup on the forum? I have searched, but not found what I am looking for. I recently replaced my Michelin Power Race 180/55 rear with a Pilot Power of the same size (yes I know 190 was standard) and now the bike feels like I am on a see-saw when I'm in a high speed corner at a pretty good lean angle. Thanks again for any help!

Mine has exactly the same issue, but Yoshi Carbons and its the Left hand side. The full system comes in a few pieces, so it should just be a short link pipe that is damaged. Should be able to buy te bits from Yoshimura. Goto the website or your local dealer.

Re: Yoshimura RS-3 replacement parts source?

Thanks for the info. I had been to the site before and didn't see a "parts" section. Maybe I should go retro and actually call and talk to them. Do people still do that? Ha-Ha! I posted because I hoped someone would say that they had an undamaged right side that was useless because the left was trashed. (almost like playwme) Thanks to all for the response
