Thermostat install help question

I enjoy doing my own work on my bikes, but i havnt changed out a thermostat before. On what side do I need to start taking things off? Where exactly is the thermostat on these bikes? I can pretty much handle it from there. Thanks alot guys!!

Re: Thermostat install help question

well i dont know where the thermostat is, but i can tell you you are going to need to take both sides of plastics off since the radiator cap (to refill) is on the right side, and the reserve container (to drain/wash/refill) is on the left side.

Since it is is stripped, follow the hoses till you see something that resembles the thermostat assembly, easily identified if you have worked on bikes/cars before.... that's what i would do, but i would also consult a repair/maintenance book if you have one handy.

i am sure many other have more experience to add.
