| Color code Recentlly...i had a small problem. My bike was follen from it's side stand. Front cowl was damaged...so i need to paint it. No big stuffat all...but i wanted to made it. The original paint is: R 258 Winning red. For two months i was searching this colour in whole country....even in Italy...and without results. In the end i foun something that could be very simillar...but not 100 %. Now...when weather is not shiny..or is cloudy outside...the difference exist. Does anybody knows where is the trick ?? I'am working like mechanic in one big workshop...where also you can paint your car..and things like that. I also found this colour code...but..like i told before...it is not 100 %. Can someone help me with some good advice..... . Please..!! |

| Re: Color code I dont know if this will help you but...
When i got my 954 panels sprayed, it was done in two coats. One was the yellow, and the second was like a laquer (off white colour). The thing is, the more/less of the laquer type stuff that he put in, the colour changed.
The panels are slightly yellower on the front than on the tank and rear cowl.
Hope that helps |

Hope that helps | Yes...that is my case too....it seems to me that the colouri is slightly yellower...or better...some stuff like the brick colour. The secret is in the first coat...which easelly could be some kind of pink colour...anyway it is acryl tipe colour...i will try to shot some photos..and put them here. To see if i had done bad/good job.. |

| Re: Color code My panels arnt 100%, but the only colour that sticks out is the tank slightly and also the rear panel - i dont really mind.
I was told that there can be three coats, but on my panels there was only the two -yellow (for the main colour) and the off white misty stuff.
Would be nice to see your bike... |

| Re: Color code The bike looks ok from what i see - the colour of the whole bike does look slightly pink(er) but i wouldnt worry... its not whats on the outside that matters, its whats between your legs!
Oh and ps: My son has the same moped that is in the back ground of your bike (piaggo nrg) |
