Re: sp1/rc51 set up

I developed some handling issues after I swapped tires and searched the forum for the same. All I came up with was a link to SPORTRIDER.com who lists settings for a 2000 model. I checked them against what I had dialed in and they were very similar to what was already set. I weigh about the same, so if you find something that works let me know. My problem seems to be in the balance between the front and rear, but I'm unsure why changing tires would generate it other than a change in profile between Power Race and Pilot Power. I thought I did a pretty good job aligning the rear axle and the chain runs straight (I set both adjusters on the same mark and then measured both sides and fine tuned). How about some help or some hints guys? The problem I am having is in corners at a pretty good lean angle the bike feels as if it "teeter-totters" front to rear as if there were a pivot point in the center of the bike. It does it when holding a constant speed but may be more pronounced when accelerating a little thru the turn.
