| free mods/uk bike hi there. im from n ireland and own a sp1 02 from new.i would like to know are the free mods relevent on a uk bike.i mostly ride hard on twisty back roads,iv stock exhausts, ohlins rear shock,ohlins front springs/fork oil/revised air gap,sprint damper,dubble bubble screen,k&n filters, pc3,goodridge brake lines.i like any mods to be fuctional rather than for looks.have tried changing the sprocket but doesnt suit these roads and corners. cheers. stephen. |

| Re: free mods/uk bike Yeah, the soft rev mod, flapper, and pair mods are all relevent to all RC's. Are the 02's over there still sp1's? I believe it should be an sp2. |

| Re: free mods/uk bike hi chris thanks for your reply,think i will try all mods,one at a time.still not sure about soft rev mod on a uk bike...mmmmm.last time was in enniskillen was on a ride out we stopped at richard brittens grave[great road racer tt rider and a true gentleman].love going to italy misano for the san marino superbike round. cheers . stephen |

| Re: free mods/uk bike if you ever make it over here look out for the nw200 races or the ulster gp [fastest road races in world nw+200mph highest speed -ulster +130mph averge lap] mind you roads not as good as scotland. |

| Re: free mods/uk bike hi mate im from manchester uk. just wondered if you removed the flapper valve and if you did did it make any difference, only wanting to do some mods to my sp1, its got arrow titainiums, 42 rear sprocket, braided hoses pc111 which hasnt really made a difference (think it needs rolling road) and thinking of putting kns on.

| Re: free mods/uk bike The flapper valve allows more air into the bike and apparently the more air you stick in an SP2 the better! Also I believe it gets rid of the rev hickup around halfway on the rev range
With the mdos u got make sure you get the PCIII properly mapped... try ROGUE RC51 Owners Group of United Enthusiasts
they have alot of PCIII maps  |
