RC51/ SP1 SP2 Tank size

Hi I read in an online road test that the Honda (in europe) SP2 had a bigger fuel tank than the SP1/RC51 does anyone know if this is right? did honda increase the fuel tank size on the rc51 at any time in the model life?
Thanks

Jack

18lit total 2.5lit reserve light goes on, which means there better be a place to get fuel within eye sight What has probably happen to you is you may have seen a gallon figure from a UK spec. and a gallon spec. from the US and they are different. I doubt this fat wide tank has ever changed.

Do you know those hooks/anchors the RC51 has on its tail and exhaust mounts? They are meant for strapping a big jar of fuel for long trips.

Sure, you can go 150mph with this bike, but can you really go 150 miles in one hour?
