| Better Acceleration & Torque! Hi all I've done a test today to prove to myself that the flapper valve disconnection gives more power. I've done the following tests with video to see if my acceleration is better between 3000-7000 rpm in 3rd gear. I've come up with the following results in 3rd gear: Flapper valve connected / 3000 -7000 rpm / 7 Seconds Flapper valve disconnected / 3000 -7000 rpm / 6 Seconds You can feel better throttle response and more torque in midrange! I had a 2004 Aprillia RSV Mille and loved the midrange torque. Now my SP2/RC51 feel even better! Honda rule!  Thanks all/ RC51.org for the tip and help! Anybody else got similar tests? | |

| Re: Better Acceleration & Torque! just completed this mod, among many others but at the moment my bike wont start so until i can figure out why it wont start i wont notice much difference, lol |

| Re: Better Acceleration & Torque! When I first got my RC, it used to stutter when the flapper flapped shut. It noticeably sucked. The mod wasn't exactly fun to do, but once I got it all out, my RC ran way better and looked nice and clean. I was amazed at how much junk I yanked out. IMHO, the flapper/PAIR mod should be one of the first things on the list for any new RC owner. |
