| Re: 2000 rc51 right radiator fan conversion I heard that the RC fan can be removed to save some pounds, but unsure which side. If you hear of this from anyone let me know. As for conversion I dont know. Sorry |

| Re: 2000 rc51 right radiator fan conversion well the 2000 rc didnt come with a right side fan, only a left side, so i was told that if you buy a fan from an sp2 you can install it on your sp1 on the right side and have dual fans, i would like to seeing as they run hot anyways. |

I also run Thorstein radiator ducts and Moriwaki radiator vents. My bike runs around 172-185 pushing it very hard and sometimes as low as 162. If anyone needs to know anything about the RC51 feel free to contact me as I know A LOT about the bike. |

They also make fiberglass ones for $100.00 less. I will post pics later of them on the bike. |

| Re: 2000 rc51 right radiator fan conversion Hi Scott - wonder if you can share how/where you got hold of the radiator ducts in Germany? I'm thinking about something along those lines to assist with cooling on the move - already have the fins but seems to me there's a lot of additional benefit in shielding the rads a bit - everything helps here in the tropics! |

| Re: 2000 rc51 right radiator fan conversion Scott,
I bought a 2000 sp1 that had the radiator fan taken off. I think I was given the wrong fan with the bike cuz the mounting holes don't match up. The center to center of the fan bracket holes that mount to the bott. of the left radiator are 4-5/8" and the holes on the rad. tabs are 5" cntr-cntr??? Do you know if the one I have is for the right side or from a different year? Or where I might find the correct one? Thanks in advance for any help you (or anyone else) can offer. Regards, Izquik |

It must be from a different model year, since the mounting holes don't match up. If anyone has a fan for a 00-01, please PM me. |
