The button you press only changes from KMPH (or MPH) into "total millage", "Engine temp", and "distance this journey" then back to the start again...

Sorry mate I don't know how to change it from MPH into KMPH... perhaps some sort of software "flash/update"
*shrugs* but how u do it I dont know...

Re: Need help to change miles to Km

Sorry I don't know about that bike.. I have only ever owned:

2000 Yamaha SR125
2001 Ducati Monster 750
2004 Honda VTR1000 SP2/RC51

and I am not a mechanic (I have a mate that does all my complicated bike maintenance stuff, all I do is clean it, keep chain sorted, and change oil) so not a clue mate.. sorry

Re: Need help to change miles to Km

i took my 03 out today and was messing around a bit. i pushed the button until the total mileage came up, and then held it in for a few seconds. i shut the bike off, and turned back on, and it changed from kmph to mph. i'm pretty sure this is what i did it was basically by accident though. i tried holding down the button when the temp was displayed and the total mileage as holding it down while the trip meter is displayed will merely reset it to zero. hope this helps.

I thought I saw some information about this at VtwinRider.com when I was there before. I can't seem to find the info right now. But you might want to check it out.

Re: Need help to change miles to Km

Found this on another site,
If it's a US spec bike, it will change over, but if it is a euro spec bike, you'll need to get a different speedo. Push the button... if that doesn't change it, you'll need a different speedo. With any luck you can get someone to trade even if they need the KM side. I know there have been a few trades here already.
(onrealrc51 looks to be right)haven't had a chance to try it yet ( bike still cocooned), but it should work.Hope that it helps.
