Are a rear shocks the same?

hey i was just wondering the shock only is the same for all the RC's, i know the linkage is different just want to know if the sp2 shock will fit an sp1?

No.
SP1 rear shock and front fork are diffrent.
The rear has diffrent spring rate, valving and construction.
The front is only diffrent internal -and the seting mechanism is a bit diffrent.

The rear shock is interchangeable and the front forks are as well as long as you have the caliper mounting brackets as well to go with them.

i was really concerned about the rear shock seeing as the reservoir is mounted differently, i just wasn't sure if i put an sp2 shock on my sp1 that the reservoir would hit the sub frame or worse.
