SP2 and Pillion

Hi.
Have / do many of you ride with a pillion on an SP2 - just wondered what it was like iro how the bike handles 2-up and what it's like for the passenger. Any thoughts / experiences much appreciated.
Cheers,

Hedge.

Re: SP2 and Pillion

i ride with the wifey all the time and barely notice her on there. she is about 5'2 and 115lbs, i'm 200. i ride casually most of the time but i think it rides great with a passenger on there.

Re: SP2 and Pillion

I ride my wife on my SP1 all the time. There have only been 2 issues; the heat on her feet because these bikes run hot (I am wrapping my mid-pipes with black header wrap this year), and her sliding back on the seat during acceleration (most other bikes have an angled pillion seat). I actually re-wrapped her seat after adding a foam hump at the rear to stop this. As far as handling goes I think its the same as any other bike I have ridden - not a big deal.
