Please Help

So there I was riding away and my 2000 Rc51 goes and boggs down and dies on me. Then when I restarted it its blowing blue smoke. So I turn it off call the cavalry and trailer it home. Well after some inspection work I notice I have fuel in my crankcase. I'm instantly thinking I'm F'd, but if my cylinder floods then gas could most certainly seep into my crankcase and thin the oil enough to burn. The flooding would also explain the bogging down. Well I asume its my PCIII so I loaded a new map. Now it idles fine but starts to die under a load. I even put the bike up on the stand and ran it in gear and no problems, but as soon as I ride it, it starts to bogg down and eventually dies. Theres the story heres the specifics. I bought the bike last year with 4000 miles for $6500, from some 55 year old dude with the RC and 3 killer harleys. It was in perfect shape, now its at 5500 miles and this comes up. I have the pair mod and flapper valves both removed, could one of those be the issue? I dont even know if I still have all the parts for the pair system anymore. Oh, and yes I did change the oil right away, and now I'm not getting oil in the crankcase, I asume because I haven't ran it long enough to flood that much. Thank you for any help you can give. I just don't think I'd be willing to part with the $80 an hour to have the Honda shop take a crack at it just yet.

Thanks

Mike

Re: Please Help

are still getting fuel in the crankcase after you put on the different map? it sounds to me like the fuel gradually found its way into the crankcase and wasnt an overnight process, if thats the case i would assume you might have a bad fuel leak and its getting past the rings. either that or you have a fuel vent line in the wrong place or something

Re: Please Help

I'd unplug the PCIII and try it without it rather than just a new map. Fried PC's is a common problem. If that doesn't do it check your fuel pressure regulator.
