SP-2 Fork Setup

Hello all! I have a new to me set of SP-2 forks on the way and seached for setup advice and found this:
Front Preload: 4 turns out

Front Rebound Damping: 2 turns out

Front Comp. Damping: 8 clicks out

Rear Preload: position 5 of 8

Rear Rebound Damping: 1 turn out

Rear Comp. Damping: 6 clicks out

Does this sound like a good place to start and is there an electronic copy of the manual floating around that I could download so I can figure out which knob is which?

Thanks,
Rick C.

Suspension setup is rider specific. Anywhere is a good place to start. Each click should make a difference. The pdf does happen to be floating around, though. Seach rc51 service in this forum, there should be a link to a speedzilla forum post with the correct download.

Re: SP-2 Fork Setup

You are close. Go with 10 clicks out on the front compression dampening and 4 on the front rebound. The RC forks needs to move a bit to keep the ride from being real harsh. I have found anything less makes the front suspension feel constricted and locked. I'm 180 pounds and run with a tank bag and run Michelin Race rubber. 90% Canyon riding. The suspension settings are a work in in progress. Make sure you check your static suspension sag before you start turning knobs and valves........Chal
