just curious if any of you have tweaked your OTS(off the shelf) maps provided for your particular exhaust system.

I downloaded the PC software and the full exhaust akrapovic/K&N map.

I'm not sure what map is in the bike now. the previous owner said he did it himself. So maybe he just downloaded the map, im not sure. I plan on getting the map and saving it. then comparing it to the map i got from PC.

I wonder if they update the maps form year to year for the exhausts out?? I know for my audi there are usually updates to the maps every 6 months or so. call them revisions to there OTS software whateva, im now custom tuned for that.

anyone who has tweaked there PC please id love to hear about the power characteristics on a fueling level. IE can you boost fuel levels at certain rpms to gain power. if so what rpm levels etc..


obviously every bike is slightly different but it would be great to know.

You're correct, every bike is a bit different, so a map for a bike with the same mods as yours will work, but won't be optimal as you know. Not sure how trying to tweak it would work. If you really want it to run perfectly, getting a custom map made at an approved Dynojet tuning center would be the way to go. Costs about $250-$300.
