| New RC owner I'm picking up an 04 RC on Friday. I'm buying a new, out of the crate bike. Dumb? Yeah, it is but I don't care. The RC is my dream bike. I've read everything i could on the bike and even after the negative stuff I had to have one. I sold my 02 954 with 25k on it a week ago and immediately worked up a deal on the new Nicky Edition. I'm excited about the new bike, having never owned a twin. I can't wait to learn it. I'll have some questions for the RC vets so bare with me. |

I dont think I'd have a problem spending 10g's on a a new one either, given I could afford it. Congrats on your find, and I'l be jealously excited for you |

| Re: New RC owner I can't wait. I've wanted one for a long time. It was a toss up when I got the 954. I loved the CBR but always wanted to try a twin. |

| Re: New RC owner I live in Demorest, about 20 minutes or so from Helen. Blood Mountain is about 20 minutes away also.
I'm trying to plan a ride across the cherohala skyway sometime real soon. Me and a few buddies may get to go on Monday if the weather is good and I can get a kitchen pass. I'll post up if it looks positive for anyone who can do a last minute ride. If not Monday, we'll do the Cherohala in a week or so and I'll post up for those who're in our area.
