Bar End Mirror Opinion Please

I've rid myself of the stock mirrors on my 04 and would like to put on some bar end mirrors. Preferbaly something which attaches to the end of the bar rather than an o ring mount. I like the following:

Napoleon Bar End Mirror, Baren Mirror, in stock at Motostrano.com

The o ring style like this is also okay although the above is preferred IMHO.

CRG Hindsight Bar End Mirror - Non-Folding

So, what do you guys have and what do you think...what's your 2 cents in terms of visibility and usage?

I thought about those as well, but to odd I think on the RC. They require more movement of the head to see behind you. Try riding and looking where the mirrors would be. It may be fine, but I purchased OEM replacements instead...

Re: Bar End Mirror Opinion Please

i had the crg on my gsxr. it is the most expensive but well worth it. i have friends that have cheap ones from cycle gear one of theirs doesnt fold which isnt a big deal but sucks in tight spots
the other does and doesnt hold at anything over 45

the crg bends and also will stay at 150+ for miles with no prob.

i would put it on my new 954 but douchey before me glued on the old bar end and i cant get the damn things out

Re: Bar End Mirror Opinion Please

My issue is I replaced the OEM mirrors with smaller, sleeker convex mirrors with led flashers hooked up to turn signals like such:

Xtreme Discount Cycle :: Mirrors :: Honda :: RC51 Pig Spotter 2 LED Mirrors

The problem is though, that you lose tons of visibility and since I commute, I need my mirrors but don't want to remove what I put on. So I figure I'd add the bar end mirrors to what I've got..

good advice from you both.....thanks...gonna start shopping around for CRG deals...

Re: Bar End Mirror Opinion Please

so you have the pig spotters but they do not allow enough rear vision?
You are going to add mirrors, for a total of 4 mirrors?
I may like the bar end mirrors, but 2 sets would be horrible!!
Live with what you have or change them out for the bar end...cannot recommend going with both sets
