| Re: Soft rev on uk bikes? What is really funny is that some people thought it was because in the US, we have more roads that are straight for long periods of time compared to that of the UK. Then the ’08 RR comes along and once again the US bikes get special treatment. What about Germany, they have the Nürburgring as well as the autobahn. Most countries have tracks. Then we have Australia that apparently got full power versions of both and there is plenty of wide open places, maybe not the safest to ho high-speed at but can be done nonetheless. Who knows what the logic is.
To add a little more fuel to the fire though. In the Honda S2000, Honda in Europe did a TSB and they replaced the oil jets under pistons to provide more oil cooling. They only did this in Europe and not in the US. So you have the car division doing the opposite of the motorcycle division. The reasoning for them not doing the same in the US, the drivers in the US will not see any benefit with the speed limits in place. In Europe there are more places to go at a higher rate of speed for longer periods of time. |

| Re: Soft rev on uk bikes? Nope, they don't test that high. The RR is iffy though, the regulations are like a maze. |
