New guy

Just wanted to say hello and ask you guys for a little favor. I just bought my first 00 RC yesterday (super low miles!), it was wrecked but not to bad just plastics and a headlight. My problem is when i turn the bike on i dont get anything on the display not even a blip. I already checked the fuses, all good, and im getting power all the way up to the plug on the back of the gauge. Now i know i have a bad headlight relay but i dont know if that would affect it... basically what im asking is if there is a way to test the gauges to see if its fried? Anything will help, thanks guys.

Re: New guy

Welcome

While I have not experenced your sort of problem, I would have to suggest that you should get a shop manual, and in the mean time you should trace each and every wire, check continuity and/or voltages.

There will probably be more well-directed responses soon.

Re: New guy

The gauge issue resolved. I found a bad ground. Got out the wire brush, cleaned it up and it's good as new. Thanks guys!
