I was not really listening for the fans as it was 100 degrees out and i had my leather jacket on and helmet etc. the overheat light went on, but i figured it was from the 100-105 degree weather. the bike finaly cooled down once i got moving again. has anyone had ther ebike go to this temp? its making me think the fans are not turning on?

easy test, just start it up and let it sit in your driveway and warm up to the fan trip point and then see if they are on.. Are you running just antifreeze or water wetter or something like that?

You guys in NJ have really high humidity too, that makes the air cool less efficiently as compared to a place like out here in central CA.

I unfortunately had my bike get pretty much that hot while riding with a new rider friend a couple weeks ago.

A new battery later and I now know that day probably killed my stator.... Gotta take my baby to the shop Monday.....
