Any difference in forks from 00'-06'?
What I'm really wondering about is the bracketry at the bottom that connects the forks to the calipers. Is there a different bracket through the years?

Yes.
The 02 (SP2) version has diffrent spring rates and diffrent valving.
Also some minor changes to the adjusters.
The 02 fork is considered much better for both street and track use.
