rc-51 pair system and flapper valve removal ***INPUT NEEDED***

Just bought a 00 rc-51. Now I am doing the pair system and flapper valve removal. Think I have most all of both projects pretty much done. Now I tried to start bike and FI red light flashes and she turns but no bang. I assume i need to do something different with wiring or sensor? I made my own pair check valve block off plates. Took off the pair control solenoid valve unplugged it and yanked it and attached hoses. However i wonder if it isn't the flapper valve system because i never pulled the vacuum tank or plugged hose from throttle? Ask any needed questions and thanks for help

Thanks guys for help. Made my own block off plates so i won't ruin my with jb weld. cut hose short epoxy inside hose and clamp together with vice grips and let it sit once cured go to open side of tube and add smooth layer of epoxy to inside of tube for perfect seal. Now you have plugs to convert stock plates to block off style plates. I used a small compass to plug flapper diaphram and glued with black silicone to hide glue on black plastic. Works great no money spent on expensive parts just a little elbow grease and glue! NOW SHE BREATHS!!! Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions if ya need assistance. Thanks Tim
