2000 SP1--wanting to stall-idle fluctuates

Hey everyone! Hope all is well.... Ok my 00' Rc with 14500 miles recently seems to want to stall at idle ---normally idles @1400 . It started to do this on a hot 'Vegas day @105 deg.(highest temp 227deg at idle normally @ 210@idle) I disconnected my PCIII and put new plugs in her(old plugs showed signs of too rich). Still is happening. It seems to happen worse after steady riding 10 mins or more. At idle it seems to starve for fuel although it smells rich and the idle starts to drop to @ 1000--if you dont blip the throttle it sometimes will cough/pop and stall. You have to hold the throttle slightly open to restart it. No F1 light. Off idle pulls strong and runs fine.Fuel level has no influence on symptoms. Is there a way to test fuel pressure/pressure drop and is there a pressure regulator and if so could the diaphram have a leak(esp when hot)?
Thanks in advance for your knowledge.......

Take off the power commander and see if the problem goes away.

I suspected it could be the fuel pressur regulator. I will replace it and let you know if it helps. I did disconnect the PCIII and I actually gained low rpm power! Now when rollling on the throttle from2000rpm it will lift the front end as where when PCIII connected it would not "hit" untill @ 5ooorpm.
Cheers!!!
