SP1 Just Cuts Out

Hi all, can anyone help me out. I have an early SP1 and today whilst sitting at traffic lights she just cut out. When trying to start her back up it was just like having a flat battery. After 10 minutes of pushing the bike down the road i thought i try and start her up again and she fired straight up. Has anybody got any ideas as i use her every day and dont want to get stuck somewhere.

Last weekend i increased the idle speed and gave her a service and no problems since.
