low speed stumble

Greetings, new to this forum and looking for suggestions. I found a 2000 RC51 with 552 miles from the original owner bought new from dealer. She has a stumble when trying to pull out and will also miss in second gear in low rpms. If I dont ride the clutch really hard it quits. I took apart the plugs and they look fine but will install new ones when they come in.(living on an island its hard to find any part locally without having to rob a bank to pay for it) She also came with new two brothers high mount slip ons which I installed and will also install a power commander as soon as that comes in too. Did this bike have a problem from stock because it was the first year? and will new plugs and power commander fix it? It has new gas...Thanks for the help

Re: low speed stumble

The power commander with a proper map will probably fix this. Does it buck and lurch at low RPM's? Very common for a RC with aftermarket exhaust.

Re: low speed stumble

It had this with the stock cans I just replaced them since The two bros came as part of the purchase. I haven't tried riding the bike since I'm still waiting for the plugs and power commander to come in. As for the power commander do you have a recommendation as to what mapping to use since on the web site it didn't have a mapping for the two bros slip ons. Thanks for responding

Re: low speed stumble

Thanks to all who responded. There are no dyno shops around so I guess I'll try different maps as soon as the power commander comes in. I'll post again after everything is installed to let everyone know if it got fixed. Thanks for the positive comment nickthevan1. I love all motorcycles especially ones with character and this rc has it also to the people who keep this forum going... thanks
