| Re: Question for those using K&N air filters.... The stock filter flowed more than what the motor could handle. I wouldn't worry about it. |

| Re: Question for those using K&N air filters.... hey does anyone know anything about flapper valve removal. if i want to remove it, not the whole PAIR system, is it just disconnecting the hose, and lifting up the assembly by the gauge cluster, and blocking that space with a plate? thanks |

| Re: Question for those using K&N air filters.... Pretty much yep. If you don't want to get a plate, just plug the hose. It doesn't hurt anything to leave it there. |

| Re: Question for those using K&N air filters.... hey, i finally got my bmc filters. do they just use the stock filters screws to fasten down? whats to keep these from getting ingested into the intake? the k and n have cotter pins, the stock have a clamp with a weld to keep the screw. Someone who uses bmc filters please tell me. |

| Re: Question for those using K&N air filters.... From a recent UK bike magazine test using a CBR1000RR, the BMC Race filters showed the greatest power gain.
Event the K&N showed power gains over the stock filter.
Now the CBR and RC51 are apples and oranges.
But it would be interesting to have dyno runs with various filters to compare. |
