| Exhaust question Hey, just got an 2001 RC51 I have always loved the bike. I was wondering if anybody has put a single exhaust. For a few reasons I want to do the mod because the stock pipes look and sound like **** and weight. Love the RC but she is a big biach  want to lower her weight. Thanks |

I actually just added on some Jaradines  slip on only. Really good sound and really easy to put on. I purchased the carbon fiber and after taking off the stock. Those pipes are so heavy.

| Re: Exhaust question hi if you fit a single can system you will lose hp and it will get very loud ,if you are looking to save weight there are loads of mods to do,if you get some good slip ons the saving will be very good any way ,so do you lose abit more weight or hp !!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

That bike is still a beast and very fast!!  |

hi jeffro i was talking about the guy that wants to fit a single can system all the info i have read shows that you lose hp !!!!!!! |

I put an Akrapovic full titanium system with carbon cans on my RC51 last December, replacing the Jardine 2-1.
The total weight of the system (including both cans, fasteners, and springs) is 6.35 Kg, or 13.99 Lbs.
The carbon cans weight 1.564 Kg each, or 3.44 Lbs. |

How did that compare to the weight of the 2:1 Jardine system? |
