Exhaust question

Hey, just got an 2001 RC51 I have always loved the bike. I was wondering if anybody has put a single exhaust. For a few reasons I want to do the mod because the stock pipes look and sound like **** and weight. Love the RC but she is a big biach want to lower her weight. Thanks

I actually just added on some Jaradines slip on only. Really good sound and really easy to put on. I purchased the carbon fiber and after taking off the stock. Those pipes are so heavy.

Check out this website:motosport.com. Really good prices!

Re: Exhaust question

Just an FYI.
I put an Akrapovic full titanium system with carbon cans on my RC51 last December, replacing the Jardine 2-1.

The total weight of the system (including both cans, fasteners, and springs) is 6.35 Kg, or 13.99 Lbs.
The carbon cans weight 1.564 Kg each, or 3.44 Lbs.

Same system I have, makes good power and light also. Thanks for the weights on the exhaust.

How did that compare to the weight of the 2:1 Jardine system?
