Help with BMC filter install

Just got my BMC filters, got for really cheap and the box was kind of beat up so im wondering do they come with new bolts to install or do you use what was on the stock filter? if the k and ns use the cotter pin to hold the screw from vibrating loose, what prevents the stock bolt from coming loose on the bmc?
