power commander

hey all, ive got a 2002 rc51 and looking to put a power comander on it,those who have fitted one to your bikes what difference do they make?do they get rid of the jumpy riding at low speeds?witch one is the best for me i have aftermarket scorpion cans and going to fit KnN filters,would the power commander 3 usb be the one? thanks in advance for any advise

USB 3 would be the correct one, but be sure that you buy it from someone who has a DynoJet dyno to set it up for you. Ask them if they could map each cylinder independently as the USB 3 has a function called "advanced mapping" . They would have to weld lambda bosses one each exhaust header as one cannot reach each header through the exhaust cannisters! They can then screw the lambda sensor (which is mounted on there exhaust gas pump) straight into each of the headers and make a map for each of the cylinders! This would ensure the best possible mapping for your bike, I know, as I have mapped many this way.

That would be the best thing to do. We also have a database of predeveloped maps available for most common bike configurations that you can get for free.

I sell Power commanders and I have a lot more maps then what are listed on Dynojets site.
