I like the M1's on my RR. They give you a big contact patch full lean and the front gives you good feedback. The only issue I had is when its really, really hot (95 and above) the back starts to get a bit slippery under hard braking. I would suggest them for the price.
I use my RC for twisties and hard, fast-paced weekend rides so I run Pirelli's. But for my RR which is more of a commuter/grocery getter

I use a more sport touring tire on the back that lasts much longer and is really only noticeably less stable mid corner when your carrying a lot of speed, right now I've got a Dunlop RoadSmart.
